      Introduction
      Hangzhou bay bridge is the longest trans-oceanic bridge in the world. The bridge itself is 36km long with 6 lanes in both direction, and will be available for ordinary public transportation after its opening in May 2008. The bridge totally costed 11.8 billion Yuan, from the news, 35% of the cost was raised from the privates companies in Ningbo, the other 59% was provided as loans from China's central and regional bank.
      The bridge starts from Cixi in Ningbo (A city in Middle Zhejiang province) to Jiaxing (A city in north Zhejiang province), after the bridge has opened, it will shorten 120km from Shanghai to Ningbo.
