      It's the end of 2008, during the past 12 months, it happened a lot to China, I only posted partial of them in China Info, now I am going to make a general summary of it.
      1. Snow-storm of south and middle of China
      It was a heavy snow-storm, we suffered a lot. The Chinese Spring Festival was nearby, a lot of workers wanted to back home, but the railways were frozen, they have to stay at stations, before the Spring Festival, all the passengers stayed at the stations were sent home.
      2. Edison Chen Scandal
      Edison apologized to the public and quited Hongkong entertainment field that time. It seems that he has entered U.S entertainment field later.

      Today is another memorable day for all Chinese, direct air and sea transport and postal services between China Mainland and Taiwan started this morning.
      The first direct flight took off Shanghai for Taipei at about 8:00 a.m. , the flight time has been cut by about 80 minutes compared to the past when the plan has required to fly through HongKong's airspace. It's not only save a lot of time, but also save oil and other relevant things.

      According to the latest news, Sanlu admits some of its baby milk powder products were contaminated by tripolycyanamide, and the company decided to recall all the baby milk powder it had produced before Aug. 6 this year.

      On 12nd May, 2008, a terrible earthquake hit Sichuan, a province of southwest China, In my pervious post, the death is nearly 10,000, but from the latest news, the death raised to 12,000. All of our Chinese are very sad to hear that, best wishes to all of them.
